Job Summary

Job Description

Work in the SE organization under minimal supervision from engineers, perform a variety of complex and specialized tasks providing support for the existing VIC and FT products by timely analysis of Production tests failures, identifying their root causes and driving and/or collaborating in corrective actions with appropriate departments.

When required, perform testing, evaluations and analysis of RMA returns to maintain customers’ satisfaction.

Be able to interface with internal organizations regarding product related issues.  

Education / Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ of position related experience
• An Associate’s Degree or Certificate in a related field
• Knowledge of Analog or Power electronics circuits
• Proficient with standard electronic lab equipment: oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and power supplies
• Strong understanding of schematics, assembly drawing and test specifications
• Know component types and ratings, understand voltage, power and current relationships, simple op amp theory, and transistor operation
• Excellent soldering skills
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow-through on both verbal and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally
• Good computer skills: ability to access and utilize information from existing data base systems
