Job Summary

Vicor is expanding to vertically integrate core plating operations.  As such, we are seeking a candidate to 1) help integrate and establish all new equipment, 2) to become trained and certified in all equipment maintenance and calibration and 3) support all day to day operations and ensure equipment uptime

Job Description

Oversee and support all equipment installation for the plating fabrication facility
Work with the rigging company for equipment installation, placement
Work with all third-party contractors for utility support (plumbing, wiring, air, etc)
 Support day/day equipment upkeep needs
React/repair/triage any required process equipment
Wet and dry processes (vertical and horizontal operations)
Learn/train on all required protective equipment necessary to support equipment maintenance
Develop and implement a PM (daily/monthly/annual) schedule for all equipment
Establish a process to track and ensure calibration schedules and frequencies
Establish onsite schedules with contractors for all PM requirements
Manage all required equipment upgrades for installation, utilities, etc
Establish an inventory system for all plating fabrication spare parts.
Catalogue and control all inventory
Establish and document all safety training requirements for the equipment technicians
Respirator training, ppe, etc
Travel to existing equipment suppliers to oversee equipment builds and identify maintenance requirements,

Education / Qualifications

Minimum of 2 – 4 years working in an equipment maintenance position.
The willingness to learn wet process equipment handling, maintenance and required PPE
Experience delivering both daily and long-term initiatives
Experience maintaining all aspects of a plating operation (horizontal and vertical process, wet and dry chemical processes)
Knowledge of PPE protocols required to support the operation/team training
Experience with maintaining/enforcing a pro-active PM schedule
Experience debugging and repairing process equipment
Troubleshooting chemical and equipment processing interactions
Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment
Excellent writing and organizational skills
Forklift training required (Vicor is willing to provide this if not already certified)

Salary Range: $53,200.00 - $66,500.00 - $86,450.00
