Facilities Summer Intern

Job Summary

Join our Facilities team for the summer and gain hands on experience in building operations, maintenance, and project support. Ideal for students interested in facilities management, engineering, or trades.

Job Description

• Assist with daily facility inspections and basic maintenance tasks 
• Support technicians with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work 
• Complete work orders such as minor repairs, equipment checks, and general upkeep 
• Help with inventory, supply restocking, and maintaining organized work areas 
• Participate in safety walkthroughs and compliance documentation 
• Assist with projects (office moves, painting, equipment installs) 
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

Education / Qualifications

Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in college or a trades program
• Strong communication and willingness to learn. Ability to use email and learn our internal work order system
• Comfortable working hands on and moving throughout the facility 
• Basic tool or mechanical knowledge is a plus

What You’ll Learn
• Exposure to building systems and preventive maintenance 
• Experience with work orders, vendor coordination, and safety practices 
• Practical skills in troubleshooting and facility operations

Preference given to candidates who are able to start in May.

Compensation Data

Salary:

$17.50 per hour
