Job Summary
The Data Governance Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective Data Governance framework and ensuring the integrity, quality and security in conjunction with ISO Procedures, SAP (S/4HANA), PC Applications and other software systems, to assist in the creation and maintenance of internal ERP’s master data.
Job Description
• Strong understanding of Master Data objects and data attributes, including but not limited to Drawings, Raw Materials, Bill of Materials, Routings, Business Partners, Source Lists, Quality Info Records, related to the Manufacturing, Sales and Finance organizations
• Review creation and change requests submitted through Master Data Governance (MDG) system, prior to initiation for approval, to ensure requests are triaged appropriately
• Ensure requests are documented and processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Maintain workflow approvals required for Data Governance
• Provide guidance and support for users in regards to submitting, approving and updating requests using Master Data Governance (MDG) system
• Adherence to standards and controls, data quality, problem management, and change management requests
• Establish and maintain a viable process for security, storing data, function and process of data, development of tools and methods to best govern the use and access of master data using Master Data Governance (MDG) system
• Work with business owners on Data Governance, providing analysis and expertise in business data to recommend strategic solutions
• Ensure issues raised by business and functional Data Governance leaders are resolved and data objectives are met
• Assist in maintaining ISO Documentation related to Data Governance
Education / Qualifications
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as database experience
• Possess the ability to understand technical documents (i.e. user manuals, training materials, essential reports)
• Experience with to SAP (S/4HANA) required
• The ability to interface and communicate well with others
• Capacity to retain and recall information accurately
• Strong analytical problem-solving
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility and follow up as needed
• Strong customer service focus and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of internal management & staff and develop relationships
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation Data
Salary Range:
$56,400.00 $91,650.00
Salary is dependent upon many factors including work experience and education.
