Manufacturing Systems Technician

Job Summary

Manufacturing Systems Administrator to provide data base support for the technical support organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the (CMMS) computerized maintenance management system. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing associated software programs along with equipment computer support.

Job Description

•    Manage the Express Maintenance database (CMMS) and perform all associated tasks.
•    Manage backups for all machine computers used to run manufacturing equipment.
•    Ensure all software and hardware systems are up to date and in compliance with company standards.
•    Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement new technology solutions.
•    Continuously Evaluate and improve existing technology systems to ensure optimal performance.
 

Education / Qualifications

•    Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and or
•    2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft windows 98/2000/XP/7/10/11 and some Linux/Unix experience.
•    Experience with PLC systems highly preferred but not required.
•    Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think creatively to solve technical issues.
•    Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
