Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Test Engineer to join our team. As an AC Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our power converter products with AC rectifying stages through the design, development, and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software. Job Description
- ATE Hardware and Software Design: Design and build proprietary ATE hardware and software solutions to facilitate comprehensive testing of power converters.
- Test Software Development: Develop test software modules using Universal Software Test Architecture (USTA), leveraging programming languages such as C and Visual Basic. This includes working with a variety of computer platforms and embedded microcontrollers.
- Instrumentation Integration: Evaluate and integrate "off-the-shelf" instrumentation components with communication protocols, such as GPIB, VXI, PXI, and Serial, into the testing infrastructure.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document all stages of software and hardware development, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the testing process.
- Collaboration with Design Engineering: Work closely with the Design Engineering team to develop and maintain new test procedures and test circuit schematics that align with product specifications and design requirements.
- Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to provide ongoing support and optimization of existing ATE systems, contributing to efficient production processes.
Education / Qualifications
• Design, build and support proprietary ATE hardware and software for a variety of analog components and assemblies.
• Design test software modules for USTA (Universal Software Test Architecture) using existing and newer software tools (C, Visual Basic) on a variety of computer platforms as well as Embedded uControllers.
• Analyze and implement "off the shelf" instrumentation components (GPIB, VXI, PXI, Serial).
• Provide documentation at all stages of software/hardware development.
• Work closely with Design Engineering to develop and maintain new test procedures.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to support and optimize existing ATE.

Salary Range: $78,240 - $97,800 - $127,140
