Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our power converter products through the design, development, and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software. Job Description
- ATE Hardware and Software Design: Design and build proprietary ATE hardware and software solutions to facilitate comprehensive testing of power converters.
- Test Software Development: Develop test software modules using Universal Software Test Architecture (USTA), leveraging programming languages such as C and Visual Basic. This includes working with a variety of computer platforms and embedded microcontrollers.
- Utilize advance statistical tools such as Minitab, JMP, SPC, DOE, and regression analysis to analyze process performance and drive data based quality improvements in manufacturing operations.
- Lead or support Six Sigma (DMAIC/DMADV) initiatives to reduce process varieties, improve product quality and enhance manufacturing operation efficiency.
- Instrumentation Integration: Evaluate and integrate "off-the-shelf" instrumentation components with communication protocols, such as GPIB, VXI, PXI, and Serial, into the testing infrastructure.
- Collaboration with Design Engineering: Work closely with the Design Engineering team to develop and maintain new test procedures and test circuit schematics that align with product specifications and design requirements.
- Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to provide ongoing support and optimization of existing ATE systems, contributing to efficient production processes.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document all stages of software and hardware development, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the testing process.
Education / Qualifications
- BSEE with 2+ years of analog design experience or test engineering for analog products.
- Must possess a working knowledge of Windows 10 and embedded Operating Systems.
- Programming experience with high-level object oriented languages C++. Visual Basic programming experience is also desirable.
- Experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL or ODBC) a plus.
- ATE and Microcontroller programming
- Experience of power supply testing, analog & digital hardware involving power electronics, drafting tools Altium or equivalent are highly desirable.

Compensation Data
Salary Range:
$85,000 - $110,000
Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
