Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A and Equity plays a critical cross‑functional role supporting financial planning, forecasting, margin analysis, and supports the administration of the Company’s equity compensation programs. This position combines advanced financial modeling and analysis with hands‑on stock plan administration, equity accounting, and regulatory compliance. The role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Payroll, Legal, and external service providers to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with equity regulations, and insightful analysis to support business and equity reporting and compliance

Job Description

  • Develop, maintain and enhance complex Excel‑based financial models supporting, quarterly and monthly forecasting with scenario and analyses tied to business drivers
  • Develop and maintain annual operating plan and long‑range planning
  • Lead detailed forecast vs. actual and variance analysis, identifying key drivers related to Revenue performance, Cost of sales and gross margin fluctuations including operating expense trends and headcount impacts
  • Perform monthly multi-level gross margin analysis related to product and customer metrics for price and volume mix, cost fluctuations and absorption impacts and create bridge reporting with reconciliation to the financial statements
  • Support the monthly close process, including but not limited to, review of revenue, gross margin and operating expense results
  • Preparation of standardized variance explanations and executive‑ready commentary
  • Coordinate with Accounting to resolve timing, classification or accrual issues
  • Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses for Finance leadership, senior management, and internal stakeholders
  • Partner cross‑functionally to provide and translate financial and operational activity into financial impacts, headcount planning, compensation modeling and productivity analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision‑making
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of trend and quarter‑over‑quarter comparisons for internal earnings reviews and financial narrative alignment

 

Equity & Stock Administration

  • Supports the administration of the Company’s equity compensation programs, including stock options, ESPP, and other equity awards, using the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE and Computershare platforms
  • Process day to day equity transactions including grants, exercises, vesting, new hires, terminations, and forfeitures
  • Serve as a backup point of contact for employee inquiries regarding equity awards and the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE portal
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate reconciliation of equity activity, tax withholding, and payroll reporting
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly equity compensation reports, including headcount, dilution, and expense tracking
  • Calculate and maintain stock based compensation expense in accordance with ASC 718 (FAS 123R), including Black Scholes valuation assumptions
  • Prepare and record monthly equity compensation journal entries and support general ledger reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with equity related regulatory and reporting requirements, including Form 4 filings, Proxy, 10K and 10Q disclosures, and Active Disclosure processes
  • Coordinate with external vendors (Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE, Computershare, transfer agents) on plan maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, controls, and process narratives

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 4–7+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Equity Compensation, or a related role
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
  • Understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting concepts, including standard costing, absorption costing, inventory valuation, and related cost variances (material, labor, and overhead); experience analyzing manufacturing variances and explaining impacts to gross margin is a plus
  • Experience with equity compensation administration platforms such as Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE and/or Computershare
  • Strong understanding of stock‑based compensation accounting (ASC 718 / FAS 123R) and Black‑Scholes valuation methodology
  • Experience with SEC reporting requirements related to equity compensation (Form 4, 10‑K, 10‑Q)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $102,400 - $ 130,000

Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
