Sr Manager Logistics

Job Description

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and distribution operations.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse and distribution employees.
• Monitor inventory accuracy with a goal of 99.9% accurate inventory levels.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements as necessary.
• Continuously access and improve key performance indicators related to warehouse and distribution processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure on time delivery of goods.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on warehouse and distribution performance.
• Implement team practices to streamline processes.
• Work closely with customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.

Education / Qualifications

• 7+ years managing Warehouse operations including all inventory management locations, traffic management, contract negotiations, etc.
• BS Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, etc.
• Minimum of 5+ years managing direct and indirect staff
• Manage customer relations as required
• Work with internal organizations such as : Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, etc.
• Working with the compliance team manage compliance related responsibilities
• Key part of ISO compliance and auditing process
• Process controls and associated metrics
• Experience in SAP or comparable ERP system implementation a plus

Compensation Data

Salary Range: 

$145,000 - $160,000

Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
