Job Description

Maintain geographically dispersed 300+ Windows based systems, which include servers, system appliances in a highly available fast-paced environment.  Desired candidate should demonstrate the ability to configure servers to best practices including good asset management skills.  Collaborate with other infrastructure engineering personnel to assess near- and long-term capacity needs to achieve on-time service delivery to internal customers.  Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, application diagrams, processes, and service records.  Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Produce monthly operating system and application performance reports including applicable remediation plans.  Provide technical recommendations as necessary to address business or application issues.  The ability to act as a project lead or as a resource provider to help design, implements, and support business critical applications.   Ensure the appropriate system security measures are in place to protect corporate assets. Develop scripts as necessary to improve functionality or automate activities. Interface with both networking and Unix/Linux personnel as necessary to achieve service delivery. Work outside of normal hours should be expected in addition to a rotating on-call responsibility.  Ability to maintain Storage Area Networking and NAS infrastructure.  Coordinate the establishment of processes, run manuals, standard operating procedures and documentation to insure 7-x24-system availability.  Working outside of normal hours should be expected along with providing rotating on-call support coverage.  

Education / Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 - 7years experience.  Microsoft Windows and storage certifications highly desirable
•    Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and be highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail & customer focus
•    Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment with strong customer service orientation
•    Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative Environment. 
•    Understanding of various systems architecture and operating systems
•    Good understanding of Security architectures and solutions
•    Good understanding of Data Center Operations including performing daily checklists
•    SAN, NAS, apache, tomcat, UNIX and Linux are a plus.
•    A minimum of 5 - 7 years of previous Windows administration in a multi domain forest 
•    Experience with the configuration and administration of Window DNS, DHCP and WINS
•    Experience with the configuration and administration of Group Policies
•    Understanding of Site management in a multi VLAN environment
•    Possess solid  IIS administration and troubleshooting skills
•    Proven ability to assess and mitigate potential security issues on Windows servers
•    Experience with SPAM, Content filtering, and Anti-Virus applications a plus
•    Experience with the deployment and management of SAN based VMWare ESX 2.x and 3.x environments
•    Experience with the configuration and administration of HP Rack mount (DL) and Blade (BL) class servers a plus
•    Experience with SAN and NAS solutions a plus
•    Experience with Office 365 and Email Archiving Vault solutions a plus

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $99,920 - $130,000
Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity
